8:30-10:00: Practice round for presenting modules--15 minutes of sharable information for 5-8 and 9-12.

Objectives: Present a 15 minute activity from one of your two modules to peer groups for practice dissemination, discussion, and feedback. Present one and review 5.

10:15-10:30 - Year 2 in Review

10:45-11:00: As a team evaluate BOTH modules with rubric

11:00 -1:45: Work on modules!

Lunch: Pizza and Salad

1:45-2:00: Wrap up

  • Remember: year 1 and 2 DRAFT modules must be submitted to Michael by May 15th

You will find handouts to explain energy concepts as well as design report examples and a template that we will ask you to use to develop your design of your curriculum.

  • Decide which semester you will be doing your teaching-debrief-reteach of your new research lesson from this week
    • The other semester you will focus on refining your year one module.
  • Decide which lesson of your new module will be your research lesson.
